The School of Law and Humanities has six departments, namely the General Office, Teaching Office, Graduate Office, Discipline and Research Office, Talent and Evaluation Office, and Student Affairs Office.

Specific responsibilities:

1Implement the decisions of the college party and government meetings, assist the college leaders in work deployment, provide comprehensive coordination and management services around the college party and government work, coordinate and organize college meetings, important work, and important activities, do a good job in receiving and transmitting various types of information, and timely upload and issue them.

2Responsible for handling various official documents of the college, drafting and summarizing written materials such as work plans, summaries, reports, letters, meeting minutes, and compilations of rules and regulations.

3Responsible for the daily party affairs of the college, the construction of grassroots party organizations, the formulation and inspection of the organizational and democratic life system of the party branch, and the completion of various evaluations and assessments.

4Assist in carrying out disciplinary inspection and supervision work, and do a good job in promoting and educating the Party conduct and clean governance of the college, as well as building a culture of integrity in the college.

5Assist in the ideological propaganda and ideological work of the college, strengthen website construction, maintenance, and information updates.

6Assist in completing the annual target responsibility system assessment of the college and the task of decomposing indicators for the school's 14th Five Year Plan.

7Assist college leaders in implementing and enforcing the school's personnel management system. Responsible for teacher training, team building, annual assessment, college personnel information statistics, and attendance management.

8Assist the college leaders in financial management, be responsible for adjusting the allowances of all faculty and staff in the college, draft the year-end distribution plan, be responsible for purchasing and reimbursing office supplies, telephones, printing, etc., and supervise various departments and individual faculty and staff to do relevant financial work in accordance with the school's financial regulations.

9Responsible for implementing the school's state-owned asset management regulations, supervising and assisting the central laboratory in timely carrying out the acceptance and registration of the college's state-owned assets.

10Responsible for the security, stability, and confidentiality of the college, arranging duty and security inspections during statutory holidays and winter and summer vacations; According to the confidentiality requirements of the school, ensure the confidentiality of the college.

11Responsible for the college's external reception and handling of letters and visits from the public, coordinating and dealing with various emergencies.

12Responsible for the management of college seals and introduction letters, as well as the approval and modification of various seals within the college.

13Assist the leaders of the institution in carrying out relevant work such as labor union, faculty representative meeting, social insurance for faculty and staff, distribution of welfare materials, poverty alleviation, etc.

14Responsible for daily administrative affairs of the college, logistical support, and the receipt and delivery of books, magazines, newspapers, and letters in the college.

15Complete other tasks assigned by the college.

Specific responsibilities:

1Organize, implement, and supervise the undergraduate teaching work of the entire college, ensure the normal operation of teaching work, and assist the dean in charge in promoting the construction of professional ethics, teaching style, learning style, and examination style.

2Organize, coordinate, and implement the development, revision, and implementation of teaching and training plans.

3Responsible for the daily management of undergraduate teaching throughout the college, responsible for the distribution, classification, and archiving of various teaching documents, ensuring the confidentiality and security of relevant information, and completing the statistics and reporting of teaching reports on time.

4Organize teaching and research activities to improve teaching level and promote continuous improvement of teaching quality.

5Organize and implement curriculum construction work.

6Responsible for organizing and implementing various competitions and awards arranged by the school's teaching management department.

7Assist the dean in charge of undergraduate laboratory construction and practical base construction, responsible for undergraduate experimental teaching, various internships, and graduation thesis (work) throughout the college.

8Supervise and manage various undergraduate teaching processes and their implementation, report the situation to the responsible dean in a timely manner, handle emergency situations, and prevent teaching accidents from occurring.

9Assist the dean in charge of professional development, teaching evaluation, teacher assessment, student evaluation, and other related work.

10Responsible for managing the academic records and degrees of all undergraduate students in the college, properly recording and managing various student academic files, providing students with grade inquiries and handling relevant procedures.

3Graduate Office:

Specific responsibilities:

1Responsible for collecting and organizing regulations and rules related to graduate student management in schools and colleges, assisting in the formulation, implementation, and supervision of relevant regulations and rules.

2Responsible for the daily teaching management of graduate students, coordinating and implementing the development, revision, and implementation of graduate degree standards, training programs, curriculum outlines, teaching plans, teaching tasks, etc.

3Responsible for the degree review, archiving, and awarding of graduate students, organizing, executing, and approving the application, mid-term inspection, and final acceptance of the college's excellent doctoral and excellent master's programs, applying for and awarding outstanding graduate papers, and assisting the college's responsible leaders in improving and supervising the quality of graduate education.

4Responsible for the management of the Freshman Scholarship Fund, the implementation and execution of the Excellent Doctoral and Excellent Master's programs, and cooperating in the application and distribution of other types of scholarship funds.

5Responsible for receiving, transmitting, summarizing, and archiving various related information and documents. Adhere to confidentiality discipline and strictly enforce relevant confidentiality and security regulations.

6Assist the leaders in charge of the college in carrying out the construction and evaluation of graduate majors, teaching evaluation, teacher assessment, and student evaluation of teaching.

7Assist the leaders in charge of the college in carrying out various graduate enrollment and admission work.

8Assist the leaders in charge of the college in the selection, review, and supervision of graduate supervisors.

9Assist the leaders in charge of the college in carrying out research and development projects, textbook construction projects, and application for high-quality courses for graduate education.

10Assist the leaders in charge of the college in carrying out external exchange management activities for graduate students, and cooperate in completing joint training for graduate students, studying abroad, and international student work.

11Assist the dean in charge of academic activities.

4Discipline and Research Office:

Specific responsibilities:

1Responsible for the daily work of discipline construction management and scientific research management in the college.

2Responsible for the construction of disciplines and the promotion and implementation of scientific research policies and documents.

3Responsible for the discipline construction and research planning of the college, drafting, implementing, and summarizing the plans.

4Responsible for organizing, supervising, and recording the discipline construction and scientific research conferences of the college.

5Responsible for the discipline construction of the college and the collection, organization, and archiving management of scientific research data.

6Responsible for organizing the application, mid-term inspection, annual summary, final acceptance, and achievement award of various scientific research projects.

7Responsible for annual research performance evaluation and research allowance accounting.

8Assist the responsible leader in completing the review of scientific research projects.

9Assist in organizing academic exchange activities for the college.

10Assist in the construction of the college's research base.

11Responsible for completing various tasks assigned by the Council of China Transportation Education Research Association, as well as the daily work of the Secretariat of the Transportation Higher Education Research Branch.

5Talent and Evaluation Office:

Specific responsibilities:

1Responsible for formulating and implementing the development plan and related policies for high-level talents in the college.

2Responsible for the application and management of talent plan projects in the college, as well as the selection and application of talents.

3Assist in the recruitment and employment management of full-time teachers such as doctors and experts.

4Responsible for planning and organizing activities such as recruiting high-level talents for the college.

5Responsible for talent introduction, talent utilization, and service guarantee.

6Responsible for organizing and managing the evaluation and appointment of professional and technical positions for faculty and staff in the college.

6Student Affairs Office:

Specific responsibilities:

1Promote ideological and political guidance, and carry out precise drip tube based ideological education for students.

a. Responsible for students' ideological and theoretical education and value guidance work, organizing and carrying out ideological and moral education, situation and policy education, national security education, legal literacy education, mental health education, and school discipline and rules education, etc., to help students firmly establish socialist core values.

b. Responsible for student party building work and conducting a series of educational and practical activities for student party members.

c. Promote the "Party Member Pioneer" action and be responsible for the cultivation and management of student Party members.

2Promote management escort and strictly and finely manage students' daily lives.

a. Responsible for the construction of students' class and academic atmosphere, and promoting the action of creating excellent academic atmosphere.

b. Responsible for the construction of grassroots organizations in student classes, strictly implementing management regulations such as students returning to school and taking leave, ensuring the safety and stability of key nodes, and timely, standardized, and prudent handling of various emergencies.

c. Responsible for or assisting the college in accepting, investigating, handling, educating, and appealing student disciplinary violations.

d. Responsible for the statistics and reporting of students' basic information, and assisting other departments of the college in carrying out special work related to student training.

3Promote service assistance for navigation, and strengthen students' humanistic care with sincerity and emotion.

a. Responsible for special work such as "awards, loans, assistance, subsidies, and reductions" for students, and strengthening the promotion of student financial aid policies.

b. Responsible for daily rights and services such as student accommodation arrangements, park construction, and various political audits and inspections.

c. Organize a series of activities to awaken college students' careers, plan their studies, and enhance their vocational skills.

d. Organize and carry out extracurricular practice, technological innovation, cultural and artistic activities, and volunteer service activities for students.

e. Timely understand and grasp the actual situation of students, focus on special groups among students, provide development counseling and psychological counseling, and maintain contact with students' parents as needed.

f. Coordinate the promotion of undergraduate enrollment in the college and be responsible for managing and providing employment services for graduates.

4Promote the navigation of renowned teachers and comprehensively and systematically enhance the team's ability level.

Assist the college party committee in the selection, training, management, and assessment of full-time and part-time student counselors and undergraduate supervisors, and promote the construction of harmonious guidance relationships for graduate students.

5Complete other tasks assigned by the college.
